But now it's about going back to my roots and it's going back to the reason why I fell in love with interior architecture.
Space and depth..... it really matters.
Forget about the decor and forget about the little pretty details that make a house a home.
Sometimes it's just about spatial qualities, the lines that create the form of the building you dwell in. It's about the simplicity in the materials and the plain white walls that use shadows and light as their details. It's about how playing with height expands your experience within a space and how looking up or walking up and down can create that experience.
The Japanese are experts at this.
They are experts at creating an a sense of journey through a space without needing to say much at all.
Simplicity at it's best.
